Enstrom's Almond Toffee - Review

Last week I was thrilled to learn that I won a giveaway on Emmy's Boos and Rawrs for a box of Enstrom's Almond Toffee.  This was a giveaway that I was really hoping to win because I have always had a love for good toffee.  In fact, Skor bars are one of my favorite candy bars.  I was sent a 1 lbs. box of the Milk Chocolate Almond Toffee which arrived not too long after I learned of my good fortune!

Upon opening the outer packaging this is what I saw:

This picture really doesn't do any justice to the beauty of the packaging.  The sleeve was a deep brown color and the white box was a pearlescent white with a raised texture, almost like linen.  Very luxurious!

When I took the lid off, I was treated to a buttery, chocolaty aroma and this image:

Isn't it beautiful?  The layer of chopped nuts was the first thing I noticed.  The almonds were pretty fine with a few larger pieces just so you knew they were almonds.  Below the almonds was a layer of creamy milk chocolate and then you hit the toffee.  Oh, the toffee!  It was buttery and sweet and nutty and literally melted in your mouth!  The flavors of the almonds, chocolate and toffee went so well together.  My whole family thought it was the best toffee they had ever tasted and I agree completely.

Although I really didn't want to know the nutritional information of the product, it was clearly labeled on the back of the sleeve with all of the ingredients listed.  Nothing but all natural products in this stuff and I appreciate that. I would definitely order this for a friend or relative in a pinch.  It is a product that I would be proud to send as a gift!  They also sell other items besides toffee such as caramels, mini turtles, mint meltaways and sugar free toffee.

Thanks to Emmy for hosting the giveaway and thanks to Enstrom's for sharing their products!

Disclaimer:  I was not compensated for this review.  I won the product in an free online giveaway.  These are my personal, honest opinions of the product.
